Random idea I've had for a couple of weeks, but decided not to execute until Allison has seen the movie (as of yesterday, she has). I don't know whether it was the idea of Mr. Scatterbrain cosplaying King Candy or Mr. Happy cosplaying Fix-It Felix Jr. that started this. Anyway, I set a rule for myself in this thing: No OCs. Without further ado, here are the cosplays, and why I chose each character. WARNING: Contains spoilers!
Mr. Strong as Wreck-It Ralph: First off, I thought triangle Strong fit the character better. Why? Because he's.... bigger? I dunno, seemed like a good idea. Anyway, this matchup is a no-brainer for the super strength department.
Little Miss Daredevil as Vanellope Von Schweetz: Now, personality-wise, Van's closer to my Little Miss OC Miss Destructive. Of course, with the 'No OC' rule, she wasn't an option. So, I turned to a Little Miss who was actually part of the inspiration for Miss Destructive! Plus, since Van's a racer, it made sense. But, now that I think of it, Miss Trouble would've been good as well... oh, well.
Mr. Happy as Fix-It Felix Jr.: One of my first decisions. Since there's no fixer Mr. Man (that's canon anyway; I have a Mr. Fixit, but he can be kind of cynical, since he's Miss Destructive's cousin), I decided to go the personality route. Since Felix is a optimistic do-gooder, who better than Mr. Happy? I played with the idea of Mr. Bounce, though, since he's smaller, and Felix does have a good leap, but I went with Mr. H anyway.
Little Miss Stubborn as Sergeant Calhoun: It was either her or Little Miss Bossy. For some reason, I was more comfortable with Miss Stubborn. You don't have to agree with me, it's just a thought.
Mr. Scatterbrain as King Candy: First thing's first--the voice. Yes, once KC started speaking, I thought, "Mr. Scatterbrain!" Heheh, most people would think of the Mad Hatter first...
Anyway, both are pretty ditzy (though for KC, it's just an act... I think
), and you have trouble taking them seriously (in KC's case, at first...). Also, whoever is Turbo is anyone's guess. I haven't decided.
And for a Bonus, Mr. Grumpy as Sour Bill. Guess why.
Anyway, if you don't agree with any of these, that's all right. If you draw MMaLM frequently, feel free to draw who you think should be who. Who I've chosen here has absolutely nothing to do with my shipping preferences (I support Hero's Cuties, but not HappyxStubborn
). And remember to have fun doing whatever after looking at this thing.
